电影以它的成功轰动全国,令许多人为之感动.听爸爸说在第七届奥斯卡金像奖的颁奖典礼上,它一举获得了十四项提名中的十一个奖项,创造了电影史上的奇迹.
前两天,电视上在播放这一部电影,我有幸观看了这部电影,看完后我十分感动.尤其是当大船撞上冰山快要沉入海底的时候,感人的画面出现了.男主人公杰克在海面上找到一块仅供一人逃生的木板,他把他的女友露丝扶了上去,自己则泡在冰冷的海水里,平静的等待着死神的召唤；船长命令他的船员把救生艇让给老人、孩子和妇女,而他自己和家属、船员必须和大船共存亡……看到了这感人的一幕,我的心情十分激动,留下了眼泪.
电影播放完后,我的心里暖融融的,坐在沙发上,久久的沉思：一方面为那麽豪华的船的沉没而惋惜,为那麽多人与大船一起葬身大海而痛心.另一方面,我为杰克、船长等人的高尚行为感到敬佩.同时我也明白了《泰坦尼克号》的主题,那就是一个人类共同追求的,又十分需要的东西,爱.杰克因为爱自己的女友,所以甘愿牺牲自己也要让女友好好活着.船长因为爱自己的船客,所以能在危难面前镇定自若的安排救生艇让老人、孩子和妇女们逃亡,这种爱是高尚的,同时我认为这种爱已经升华成为一种责任.
大家都知道,人是不能没有爱的.一个人,没有父母的慈爱,心灵就会感到十分压抑；一个家庭,没有长幼之间的互爱,就不会有幸福和美；人类没有相互间的爱,就不会有群体的凝聚力和社会的文明.爱是人类社会生存和发展的力量.人类不能没有爱.
我认为爱是互相的,你给他人爱,他人也会把最真诚的爱给你.到那时,世界将变成一个美好的人间.

Will Smith plays Chris Gardner,a struggling sales man that is doing everything he can to keep his act together,however,lately he makes little to no money and the bills keep piling up.His wife,tired of the situation leaves him and goes to New York to work in a restaurant.Subsequently everything that could go wrong does go wrong and Chris and his young son end up homeless.Now his only hope is to succeed at a stockbroker internship at Dean Witter and be chosen to work there which would turn his life around...Based on a true story,The Pursuit of Hapyness has all the right ingredients,plus Will Smith's performance is not only perfect but probably the best of his career.He may not choose his films very wisely but the man can definitely act,for instance,there's a very emotional scene towards the end of the movie,it lasts less then a minute but it is some of the finest acting I've seen lately.The on-screen chemistry between Will Smith and Jayden Smith is great and makes the viewer really care and root for the characters.Overall its a great story of hope,of working hard to achieve things,of not giving up...I dare you to watch this movie and not feel like you can do more in your life,that you can and should go after your dreams and not settle for anything less.
